FAQ

Do your prices have GST included?

Yes.

When are you open?

Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm, Saturday 9am – 11am

Where are you located?

Our workshop is at 9 Aberdeen Crescent, Findon. See the map on our Contact page for details.

Why can't I use coloured paper streamers?

Any equipment, especially marquees, can be stained permanently as the dye does not come off. Rain and/or condensation can trigger this problem, with the total cost of repairs passed onto the customer.

Do I need to clean the hire goods before I return them, or they are collected?

Yes, otherwise you will be charged for dirty glassware, cutlery and crockery.

Do cutlery, crockery and glassware need cleaning before I use them?

No, however sometimes glasses do need a wipe due to the cardboard boxes.

What if my order is incorrect in some way?

You need to notify us prior to your party for a total refund on the difference. Breakages or missing items will be charged accordingly.

How can I pay?

All invoices are strictly to be C.O.D. (Cash on Delivery) or E.F.T. atleast 3 days before Delivery and with our prior approval!

How can I pick up my order?

We will advise you of the best time frame, usually all day Friday or Saturday morning for a weekend function. Remember you need to consider your vehicle’s capacity and have load restraining equipment for trailers.
By saving the cost of delivery, you are now responsible for the loading, unloading, securing and transport of the goods.

All pick-ups will be the cost of the equipment plus a bond, to be paid in cash. The bond will be returned on presentation back of the goods, minus the value of any missing or broken items.

When will my order arrive?

For weekend functions, deliveries are on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, strictly cash on delivery. We collect on Monday and sometimes Tuesday.

It is preferable if someone can be arranged to meet us, but we will deliver as long as adequate access is available and payment is organised. Equipment is your responsibility after delivery. We will not carry equipment up and down stairs or elevators, and only reasonable distances!

What needs to happen before the marquee arrives?

Once you have settled on a size, that area plus a metre on all sides needs to have pots removed, tree branches trimmed and maybe the lawn mowed. A marquee cannot be put up over a clothesline or under very low power cables.

We assemble the frame on the ground before lifting it to its full height. Our free-standing frame marquees are able to go over lawn, pavers, concrete or asphalt; just remember to let us know when making your booking, as the type of fixing procedures vary quite a lot.

*Excessive weather alert conditions may prevent successful marquee installation!
